Hello! I'm Samantha Dominguez, a Social Media & Communications Professional and current MBA candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), based in Los Angeles, CA. I’m passionate about building meaningful narratives through digital storytelling, and I specialize in strategic social media management and communications that drive engagement, visibility, and brand connection.

I currently work at Snap Inc. as a Digital Communications Associate, where I support our corporate and executive social media presence by contributing to content strategy, developing posts, and owning performance reporting across all platforms to drive insights and visibility. I help bring Snap’s brand and leadership voice to life through impactful digital storytelling.

Prior to Snap, I owned the employee-facing social channels at Universal Studios Hollywood—pitching content, producing and editing videos, building community, and managing posting strategy to elevate Team Member stories and showcase company culture.

Before Universal, I served as Social Media Manager at California Volunteers, Office of the Governor, where I led social strategy and managed paid social campaigns for the California Service Corps. By analyzing data and optimizing ads and organic outreach, I helped grow engagement and awareness for statewide service initiatives.

I hold a Master of Science in Digital Social Media from the University of Southern California (USC) and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Sociology from UC Irvine. Bilingual in English and Spanish, I’m committed to creating inclusive, cross-cultural content that resonates.
