Universal Studios Hollywood recently rolled out the red carpet to celebrate the winners of our GSAT Club's "Lights, Camera, Take Action" video contest. This competition challenged Team Members to create 2-to-5-minute training videos demonstrating professional, themed Guest interactions that elevate our service standards.
The contest saw teams from across the Park's Neighborhoods showcasing their creativity while reinforcing the importance of kindness and etiquette in delivering world-class Guest experiences. Team Members were able to showcase their talents while creating valuable training resources that will assist everyone to continue to deliver exceptional hospitality. After careful deliberation using a scoring criterion that evaluated creativity, production value, service language, etiquette, and cross-departmental collaboration, the GSAT Club announced the winners:
First Place: Matteo Molinari, whose video was not only incredibly funny and
entertaining but also masterfully demonstrated how to transform everyday Guest
interactions into memorable Hollywood moments.
Second Place: Patrick Harold Cross II, who touched the judges' heartstrings while
impressing them with different approaches to enhancing the Guest experience.
Third Place: David Gomez & Nikolai Sublett, whose entertaining entry featured
outstanding production quality and highlighted the power of teamwork in creating
exceptional Guest Experiences.
Excellence in Creativity and Service Tips: Center Stage Neighborhood, whose unique presentation style and creativity stood out.
The winning videos exemplified our goal of elevating every Guest encounter. From replacing phrases like "no problem" with "my pleasure" to demonstrating positive body language techniques, these training resources will help improve our service standards across all Neighborhoods.
